Join Nine Live Foundations, a community based non-profit organization that rescues cats and kittens from high-kill shelters and at-risk homeless situations, providing them with a no-kill shelter and on-site medical care, seeking permanent loving homes for them. But they are more than that, Doctor Rudigier has dedicated her life to save these cats not matter their ages or their conditions. You can help them on a long-term but also in a one-off assignment or by donating as the community is their only support. They save cats for all over the world, recently they lead a Kuwait Cat Project in order to help rescuers who have been rescuing cats from abandonment, abuse, neglect and kitten mills as there is no animal shelter there. Follow them on Facebook, they are really amazing and fully devoted to this cats.

They have an immediate need. The adoption center and the clinic reached their maximal capacity, they need foster houses even for a few days because a lot of cats still need to be rescued. Our founder is currently fostering 3 very sweet five months old kittens is you want to adopt them.

The Surfrider foundation is a worldwide non-profit environmental organization launched in 1984 in San Clemente in California by a group of surfers. Their goal is to protect oceans, waves and beaches. Their regularly scheduled cleanups are usually on the first, third and last Sunday of each month. Since 2017 they have cleaned up 1958 beaches and removed 638,282 pounds of trash thanks to 94932 volunteers.

Have you ever thought about being involved in your public library? A lot of different opportunities are offered. You can present storytime to children all ages even sometimes in your mother tongue. It’s a good way for newcomers to connect with the community and for children to develop skills for reading. If you prefer to work with adults and change a life you can become a Project Read Tutor. You will be asked to provide one-to-one tutoring to adults to improve their English speaking, reading, and writing.

St. Anthony’s is a nonprofit organization providing free shelter, housing, meals, medical care, clothing and furniture, rehabilitation services, employment services and senior services to homeless and poor people. They serve over 3000 meals a day. They do a lot for homeless people or those experimenting poverty in San Francisco. They offer a lot of different programs if you want to help from Dining room, Clothing program or Specialized Volunteering.
